A busy weekend

On Saturday Sailor, Joe and I got to visit with Casey, Bradley and Casey's Granny and Papaw. I didn't get to take any pictures on Saturday. Here is Casey and Sailor when she came to visit us in the hospital.
After our visit with Bradley and Casey we went over to Granny Wanda's for the first time. Sailor is in her big girl bed at Wanda's.
Sunday we attended the United Methodist Church's Homecoming. It was a wonderful service. We got to see lots of friends we haven't seen in quite a while. Sailor got to meet a lot of the Church family we grew up with. We enjoyed seeing Mimi and Potts, Lindsey, Darby and all of Tara's family except Tara. Too bad you guys could not make it, I completely understand how busy you must be. We were sorry we didn't get to stay for the youth reunion.

Happy Birthday...Sailor was a month old on Saturday. It is so hard to believe. Time is flying by. Look how much I've changed!!! Above was today and below was only a few days old!!!

I am working on my eye muscles. They get a little crazy every now and then.
Look at all my toys. I match them.
I am ready for the beach. Too bad mommy won't take me next month to Myrtle Beach with aunt Heather and the fam.

Sailor's 1st trip to Pop's camper.

Today Sailor took her first trip to the lake. It was a beautiful day, the weather was great! Pop took us for a ride on the pontoon boat, very slowly, not on Sailor's account that is just his usual speed! Peyton and Colton both got to drive!
Colton has become the little "baby hog". He and Peyton have to flip a coin to see who holds her first.
She is already so spoiled by her aunt Heather, I think Joe and I are going to get paid back for the past 12 years!
Nana's little girl

What a cool new game. LADDER BALL. Joe beat me 20 to 14.
Sailor getting ready for the boat. Infant/Toddler life jacket? A little more Toddler! Anyway it is cute and keeps me safe. Thanks Granny Wanda!!! She has surfed the net for all kinds of special stuff. Joe and Sailor about to board!
Me, Sailor, Colton and Peyton...Of course Colton is holding her.
Today was a great day. The first of many great days at the lake with the fam!

Visit to GrannyFran and Granddaddy's

Wednesday evening Sailor took her 1st trip to GrannyFran and Granddaddy's house. We had a nice supper and good long visit. Sailor loved just relaxing and looking up at GrannyFran.

She was so content when Granddaddy was holding her. We stayed out way past all of our bedtimes, but we all enjoyed the visit.

We had such a good time, when we left, we left everything behind...diaper bag, camera...we were lucky we didn't forget Sailor. GrannyFran got to make another visit Thursday morning on her way into town as she dropped off our bags. We are still learning!

Tiny fingers and toes!!

Look closely!!! Yes, that is a crooked little pinky. This is one of the first things I looked for when I gave birth to little Sailor. For most of you that know me remember that my little fingers a kindof a traid mark that I have. I only know one other person that has fingers like mine, well two now. It is amazing to me that I created this little person all the way down to her perfect crooked little pinkies! God is so good!

Just like on Heather's blogspot and webpage, "If we could only hold their hands forever".

Sailor's 1st outings!

Joe, Sailor and I took our first trip, aside from the pediatrician, on Labor day to, of course, the baby store. It went great. I really did not need anything but just to get out of the house. The walls were begining to close in on me. I'm not usually one to stay home but it is really to soon to get her out and about. I thought we would be safe going to the baby store because there are always so many babies and pregnant women, maybe we would blend. We shopped and got a few things. I even got a refund on the stroller because I had a coupon that I forgot to use when I purchased it. I gave it to them with the receipt and they credited me $45.00! We had
Chik-fil-A in the parking lot under a shady tree. Later that night Nana got to baby sit and Joe and I went on a quick boat ride. It just would not have been Labor day without going to the lake even if it was only for an hour.
Our second outing...Winstead's American Grill, a nice new restaurant in Spring City. It was a good time and good food too. The whole fam went. We are so used to getting a table for 8, we had to recount and add1! Sailor did great. She sat in her carrier until I was finished eating my shrimp on the barbie! You can tell from Joe's face his compliance with picture taking is running thin. Anyway, we will definitely go back.

What a team!!

"When it rains it poors." That's been our motto lately. Sailor and I are already teaming up against daddy. Together we were successful in blowing up the washer in less than a week from coming home from the hospital. We were able the score a brand new set of front loaders! Well it was only a matter of time before my little washer stopped. Mom and dad bought them for me used 7 years ago when I went to school in Memphis. I really don't know how old they actually were. We love the new ones though, we have been busy washing and drying everything, they are really cool.
