An uneventful doctor visit!

Monday Feb. 9th was my second doctor visit. Just as I remember with Sailor, a little let down. You get all excited and worked up about going to the doctor and nothing really happens except they tell how much weight you have officially gained. I was right at 14 weeks on Monday. We did get to hear the heart beat and Sailor got to push buttons on the doppler monitor, which was the highlight of the trip! No ultrasound or anything really exciting, I am just going to try to keep a little record of visits.

MLK JR Day/Snow Day!

We finally got a little snow, just enough to make a mini, Sailor size, snowman! Several weeks ago on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day we woke up to Sailor's first snow. It was Monday so I was off anyway and Joe had the holiday off so we all got to play. Sailor loved the snow and did not want to some inside. She finally got to wear her snow suit Granny Wanda got her for Christmas. It's the second one she got for her, she did not get to wear last year's at all. Maybe her little sister or brother will have a chance to wear it next year!

Mom, I feel like Ralphie from the Christmas story!

Oops, his nose fell off :-(

Don't eat the yellow snow!

Giving the snowman a hug!

giddy up, Beamer!

Catching snow flakes!

Sailor's Big Surprise!!!!!!

I love my new fancy shirt!!

Joe, Sailor, Beamer and I found out a little before Christmas that we will be welcoming a new addition this summer! Sailor may just have an exciting birthday present if we are a little late. Sailor's birthday is August 22 and I am due August 11! As you can see from the picture Sailor is super excited. She already told us, don't worry about a new nursery, the baby can have my room and I will just stay with you guys in your room! I am sure most of you already knew seeing that I have only been able to tell 3 people so far that did not know and one is on the other end of the state! Good news does travel fast!

P.S....O.K. Heather, you can finally exploit our new child's pic on your facebook page, sorry for the delay!

Oh No, the big 3---0!

Yes, I am officially 30! It hasn't been as bad as I thought. I had a really good birthday. It was last Monday so I was off and Sailor and I played all day. That evening our family took me out to eat at Cracker Barrell then we watched Colton play basketball then back to the house for cake and icecream! Mom got the oh so appropriate cake with Sailor's priceless expression and the "Oh, no the big 3---0" on it. Just wait most of you other bloggers out there, your time is coming!

Happy New Year!

I know, I know, this is really late but I wanted to at least make a quick post our fun New Year's. After going out to eat with Heather's family and some other friends we went back to our house and played Rock Band on the X-box 360! It was all fun and games until suddenly the Rock Band quit and ended up somehow with a huge scratch on the disk. Anyway we barely made it to see the ball drop and then off to bed.

Sailor even got in on the action, I think she is a natural!

A very blessed Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas. Joe, Beamer, Sailor and I spent Christmas morning together opening each others presents and of course Santa's too. Joe got a new pillow and some clothes, I got a new pocket size camera, Beamer got his traditional giant chew bone and Sailor got too much to mention!

After playing for a while at home we had breakfast at Granny Wanda's. Sailor got a new tricycle from Jamie and Paula and again way too many things to mention from Granny such as lots of Elmo things, dolls, clothes and a table with a tea set! The weather was so nice she got to ride her new trike outside and even climb a tree!

After Granny Wanda's we went home for a nap and then to Nana and Pop's. Heather, Bruce, Peyton and Colton got her a new basketball goal, she has already learned to dunk! Nana and Pop again gave way too much like lots of clothes, shoes, a ball pit, dolls and much more!

Sailor is so blessed to have so many people that love her soooo much. We've had a great year!
