Blizzard 2010!!!
O.K. not blizzard but the biggest snow we have seen since the blizzard of 93! Our fun began Friday night when our friends Buddy and Lisa came over with an air mattress! O.K. that sound sounds a little bad but it was for sledding!! Yes we rednecked it up riding down the big hill on a mattress. Only one problem...hit the curb first run and popped. No problem, we just aired it up each time. There was plenty of time to air it up since we all needed to rest after walking back up the hill! I must say I walked up my hill more times Friday night than I ever care too again. It was all fun and games until the scraper truck came by around 1am :( We even made a snowman in the road with a sign "don't scrape me" but they did anyway. Saturday we stayed out all day sledding in our yard, Nana's and even went out to Granny Wanda and Aunt Heather's neighborhood for some action. Brighton even got to ride but I am not so sure he enjoyed it that much. Sailor really impressed us and went down the huge sledding hill by herself several times! I have to say I was even a little scared going by myself. We even went back to Aunt Heather's on Sunday for some yummy stew and more sledding with Peyton and Colton! I am so glad we finally saw real snow and can't wait for more!

Wilderness at the Smokies!
Every year after Christmas around my birthday our family makes a trip to the mountains. Sometimes to Gatlinburg but the last several years we have stayed in Pigeon Forge. It's great because you miss the Christmas crowd, the lights are still up and the Tanger Outlets have great sales! This year we went to Wilderness at the Smokies! We had a great time only Sailor was a little disappointed she was too short for most of the slides. We will definitely go back when she is taller. Poor Brighton was having a skin issue in a not so nice area, which could be another blog but I will spare him and just mention it so we will remember it later, so he did not even get to put his feet in the water :( Anyway we did have a good time, the rooms are very cool only a little crowded. I have never seen as many beds in one room in my life.

Sesame Street Live!!
Elmo's Green Thumb!
Last Saturday we went to see Sesame Street Live with Sailor's good friend Eli Owings and his mom and dad! Sailor and Eli were fixed on the show. Sailor was a little more reserved through the whole thing but Eli boogied the whole time! Sailor loosened up a little towards the end as she and Eli shared a chair and where both swaying to the music with hands in the air! Sailor even got pop corn or "pop torn" as she calls it for breakfast with sprite of course! We had a great time!
Christmas with Nana, Pop, Heather, Bruce, Peyton and Colton!
Christmas night we ended at Nana and Pop's! It's funny Heather does not want Sailor to be a cheerleader at all cost but she got her two girly dress up outfits complete with too-toos! Tinkerbell and Gigi, God's princess! She also got Gigi movies and Colton got her a Tinkerbell doll that matches her outfit!
Too much excitement for Brighton! He's not too sure about all these new toys. A blow up penguin, lots of new clothes, a bag full of stuffed animals and all kinds of light up chew toys!!
All kicked back!
Sailor taking her new baby for a ride on her pink plasma car!
Is that Tony Hawk???
"It's what I always wanted" Pop said...a one cup coffee maker!!
Sailor and Peyton comparing gifts!
Christmas with GrannyWanda, Jamie and Paula
Christmas afternoon we went over to GrannyWanda's. Jamie and Paula were there too! I decided Jamie does not take good directions. I gave him a few gift ideas for Sailor and said one or the other but absolutely not both and of course he got both. A megablock table and a little people doll house. She loves both by the way!! Brighton got a cute but very annoying dog. I think all toys for his age group are annoying! Brighton loves to hang out in his new car from GrannyWanda and Sailor is loving to learn to play all of her new games. Sailor also got her very own DVD with a library of movies.

Christmas morning!
Finally!!! Christmas morning was very special this year. We left cookies, milk and orange juice for Santa on Christmas eve, blew Goonie the elf a kiss before bed knowing we would not see him again for a whole year and went to bed so excited that we would celebrate Jesus's birthday in the morning! Sailor woke up a little confused but remembered that today is Jesus's birthday and that Santa was supposed to come last night. After pottying she ventured into the living room to see what he brought and stood there a little more confused for at least 2 or 3 minutes just looking around. She finally decided it was o.k. to touch the new toys and began to check everything out. She was so excited about her stuff but it was so cute to see her show Brighton everything Santa had left for him too! We had so much fun just relaxing and playing all morning!

Sailor decided after such and exciting and exhausting morning that she would try out her new doll bed. She fits in it like a key. I am not sure how she got in there or how she got back out!
