Happy Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's day this year. We started the day with Sailor's dedication at church. We learned that this dedication was not only for Sailor but for Joe and I to dedicate our lives to Sailor and teaching her God's ways and to live for the Lord. She received a certificate, a personalized Bible and a special prayer and kiss from the Preacher to let her know what a special little girl she is. Sailor did so good, I was so proud of her and she did not put her Bible down the rest of the morning, I could tell she was proud too!

The whole crew!

After Church, Joe, Sailor and I had a good lunch with Granny Wanda followed by a visit to NannyJo in Crossville. Sailor had the best time with NannyJo and Granny Wanda, She loved showing them how big she is.

Sailor got me another tree this year. I am so excited to plant it. I just hope it grows as well as the one she gave me last year. Thanks Sailor and Daddy!

We ended the day with a cookout at Nana and Pop's. Heather and I provided the food but of course we had Nana cook her famous burgers as Heather and I each made excuses about how we just don't pat out the burgers right and we don't like to handle the meat! We really just wanted her to do it!!

Lovin the warm weather!

We are loving Spring and the warm weather! If we can just get it to stop raining Sailor would stay outside all day, everyday!

Daddy is training her right!

Congratulations Daddy!

Congratulations Joe and Buddy!!! April 25th was their first big tournament of the year and they brought home the grand prize. Sailor and I are so happy all of those endless hours of "practicing" paid off...literally!!!

Good job daddy, we are proud of you!!

Happy Birthday Nana!

I have some catching up to do so the next few posts will be brief!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANA!! April 19th
Nana made a safe choice on her Birthday dinner. Ruby's doesn't sing or dance or embarrass you in any way. We had a good time celebrating as usual.

We love you Nana, sorry we are late!

Happy Easter!!!

We had a great Easter this year. The early Church service was wonderful. The rest of our day was filled with play, play, play! Sailor blew bubbles, drew pictures with sidewalk chalk, drank some bubbles, shot basketball, chewed on the bubbles, threw soft ball, licked the bubbles, played in the sand, spilled the bubbles and hunted Easter eggs! She loves bubbles but doesn't have the whole concept down yet!
Thanks Easter Bunny!

Walking with daddy!

Found one!
No fair...
That's too high!

Peyton made the final count

I think Sailor won, she had a whole basket full!

Happy Birthday Ba! a.k.a Pate!

April 8 was Peyton's 14th birthday. It is so hard for me to believe Peyton is 14. I am so proud of him, he is such a good kid. I can not say it enough how lucky Sailor is to have her two big cousins. Peyton is so good to her and is always there to make her laugh! Happy Birthday Pate! We love you very much, Nikki, Joe and Sailor.

Happy birthday Eli and Noah!

This has been a month of Birthday's so far! Several weeks ago we got to attend some great birthday parties! Sailor's friends Eli and Noah were born on the same day and just celebrated their 1st birthday. We had a great time at both parties. Can't wait for many more!
